Berry Tofu Plant Based Smoothie

Remember that time you told everyone you don't have time for breakfast? Well if you'd met this smoothie, you would know that was about to become a lie. Better yet, it's made entirely from plants! A plant based smoothie!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup silkin tofu
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberry
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup raspberry
  • 1/2 cup water (may need more or less depending on preference)

Instructions

  • toss ingredients into blender.

Notes

I often add 1 cup of spinach or avocado to this plant based smoothie. 
The trick to this plant based smoothie is water!  After blending slowly add water until desired consistency is achieved. 
To make this plant based smoothie even easier and quicker, put all ingredients into a standard mason jar (may need to use 1/2 of the portions listed for a single serving). Twist mason jar right onto the base of a standard blender.  Untwist, insert straw and go!  Or twist cap onto mason jar and save for later.
